We kindly invite you to participate in the 8th Energy Forum organized in Sopot on December 16-18, 2013.
The current situation in Europe can be described as an “energy paradox”. Economic slowdown and growth of both energy consumption and share of bio-fuels in the energy balance revealed a need for urgent reforms of the EU energy system. At present, some assumptions of the so-called road map are in contradiction to the rules of market competition. Will the current debate on the main goals of the EU climate and energy policies till 2030 bring an expected compromise on environmental protection and some solutions taking into account energetic and economic differences between the EU member states and aiming to reinforce the energy security? How to accelerate the integration process of the energy infrastructure? Where is a space for cooperation between the countries of the Central Europe? And, finally, what to invest in so uncertain times in? These questions and other energy issues will be discussed during this year’s Energy Forum in Sopot.
