On 5-6 of February FNEZ took part in the Windforce Baltic Sea conference in Gdańsk. In the session Poland in Focus FNEZ presented the legal outlook for offshore wind energy in Poland, including current and future support schemes, and the joint position statement of over 20 representatives of offshore wind industry in Poland, including key ivestors, producers, networking organizations, research institutions etc. The aim of the position statement is to open a dialogue with the government regarding more prominent introduction of offshore wind energy into Polish strategic documents and providing legal provisions for long term development of this technology in Poland, linked with the development of domestic industry. The position statement will be delivered to key governmental representatives in the coming days.
The Poland in Focus session also involved presentations on current state of development of offshore wind project in Polish marine areas given by: Polenergia, Generpol and Baltex.
