ABOUT US

The Foundation for Sustainable Energy is a non-governmental organisation, an independent think-tank, whose aim is to prom ote and act for the implementation of sustainable development principles in the energy sector. The Foundation specializes in creating and promoting high standards in the development of investment projects, especially conducting social dialogue and environmental impact assessments.

We are a partner of the government and the parliament in creating the system environment of energy sector in Poland. We are focused on onshore and offshore wind energy.

We have issued experts’ reports and analysis, we have elaborated strategies and action plans, we have published position statements concerning renewable energy sector, and especially offshore wind energy.

We have organized seminars, conferences and workshops addressed to the representatives of RES sector and administration. We prepared over a dozen social conflict management strategies for investments on land and sea. We conducted comprehensive dialogue campaigns with stakeholders of two offshore wind farm projects accompanying the environmental impact assessment process. We conducted a stakeholder management campaign in accordance with the requirements of the TEN-E regulation for an international project.

The Foundation has experience in developing good practices based on foreign and domestic experience and agreeing them with relevant administrative bodies, as evidenced by a collection of developed and published documents.
